Today’s exercise was “Bottle Song” which is really just a bowdlerized version “99 Bottles of Beer” Is that site really so lame and pathetic that they have to censor a children’s song? They also replaced minesweeper with flower field because it might trigger people. Really… not lying. The game that came with windows 3.1 – 95 …. too triggering and violent. Life is hard, but it is even harder when you aren’t allowed to think. A bunch of easily offended hippies over there. The exercises are good, but the people running the place … not so much.
For the parser I added Power Expressions (x^y), and Negate Expressions which take the former and optionally precedes it with a minus sign to negate it. I thought I needed to remove the +/- check from integer and float but I left it in and I think that was correct. Tomorrow I am hoping to cover add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
