100 Days of Code Day 1
Ok, I did some coding after all. I didn’t want to think too much, so I decided to pull up Exercism, and do a couple of exercises. Of course it has been a while so there was obnoxious setup all over. They really don’t want to let you solve things locally. I setup the exercism client on the new machine. Then I firmly had to tell it where I wanted the files, and finally I did two exercises and let me check them in.
Of course that is the time when github had its turn being obnoxious. Turns out they decided to delete all my SSH keys I had stored….thanks guys. So I am guessing I need to repeat this nightmare of setting up SSH for every other machine I use now. Grrrrr. Why is this so awful, and why do I keep tripping over it every few years. Long enough to forget how it works but often enough to dread it and know it is inevitable. Anyway the two exercises involved remote control cars and birdwatching. So you get a picture of a bird driving a remote control race car. The bird is blue to signify twitter that I may/may not go back to. Yes I know it is x now.
