Chalk the Walk 2019
Well, here it is, my Chalk the Walk entry for 2019. I guess I ended up being more naturalistic than my preliminary sketch
For comparison, the sketch looked like this.
The background and “ray of light” were probably mistakes.
I tried using water with paint brushes to spread and mix color this year. Strangely enough I seemed to be the only one doing so. I saw several people do it in years past. It worked well enough, I would do it again if only to spare my fingers from sidewalk abrasions.
I think I am getting to old for this, I hurt all over.
